VCube VCube is a hard-disk based video player / recorder system designed specifically for use in audio post production. VCube can operate as a standalone unit, or as part of a multi-system network, fully integrated with Pyramix, through standard Ethernet. .
VCube is basically a universal video player. It supports all Standard Definitions video formats for NTSC and PAL systems. SD video capture is an option since VCube is able to directly stream media files and OMF compositions through network from a media server. This unique feature allows users to bypass the rendering stage in audio post production workflow. Even complex multi-layer compositions including different media types can be displayed in real-time. 	Ramses MSC is a multi-format fully integrated console system that rewrites the rule book for efficiency and affordability. Gone are the days of expensive standalone digital consoles, we now enter the exciting new world of a very powerful and fully integrated multi-track audio record/editing/mixing environment complete with the option of video referencing and compatibility with all Standard and High-Definition Audio and Video formats. Ramses is the core system control surface, Ramses MSC is the fully integrated record, editing, processing and fully automated mixing system that has all the functionality of a large format digital console and fully configurable for post-production and multi-track recording applications. Isis Isis offers a fully user-definable tactile remote control surface for Pyramix editing, recording and mixing functions. Connected to Pyramix and/or VCube via Ethernet, Isis uses Merging's OASIS control protocol to give a very high resolution and high-speed communication to all functions. The main Isis Remote Controller has dedicated keys for machine control, jog/shuttle and jog-wheel editing and the large LCD display offers 12 user-definable and multi-functional keys, which can be soft-labelled to give any number of user specific functions. Sphynx 2 The Sphynx2 is based on Digital Audio Denmark's high quality multi bit converter and modulator design, using a 5 bit delta sigma modulator running at 128fs. Sphynx2 offers A/D and D/A conversion in PCM up-tp 192 kHz, DSD at 64fs or 128fs and DXD at a sample-rate of 352.8 kHz. A new era now begins for PyramixTM V6.0 with our latest technological breakthrough called MassCoreTM. MassCoreTM is a new and incredibly powerful real-time engine for Pyramix and offers an increased level of processing and channel count so great that Pyramix now becomes, quite simply, the most powerful digital audio workstation in the world today.

Pyramix MassCoreTM can be configured from just 16 to an astonishing 384 simultaneous live input and output channels (768 I/O) at 48kHz, or at 256 channels through the mix bus into a massive 256 channel mix-buss structure. Retaining an almost infinite number of real-time editing (virtual) tracks and with latencies far lower than any other Windows or Mac based system. Pyramix MassCoreTM offers a level of power, sonic quality and flexibility that outperforms every other DAW on the market.

So many tracks and so many channels at 48kHz may not be required by everybody but it is worth noting this also allows for 192 simultaneous I/O channels at 96kHz, 96 I/O channels at 192kHz and we don't stop there. Pyramix is the only system in the world capable of 48 I/O channels in DXD (352.8 kHz) and DSD (1-bit 2.8MHz sample rate) for SACD production.
