AD162 is the first Audio Developments mixer designed with an LCD meter in place of the traditional analogue type, creating the opportunity to fit a significant number of facilities into a much smaller space. The mixer, while having all the attributes of the AD161 ( its mono counterpart), is only 25 per cent greater by volume. The meter shows the output levels in PPM or VU format, but gives an indication of the battery condition and monitor status whether listening to direct or return signals. Using internal DIL switches the meter can follow the monitor selector. This gives the operator the opportunity to show the return level. The mixer has been designed to introduce to the market a high quality, yet affordable, stereo ENG mixer with the durability to last well into the next decade
