• Pearl Labs Launches new “Priority” Microphone at NAB2013

  

  Portland, Maine – April 2, 2013 – Fraser Jones, president of Independent Audio, exclusive U.S. distributor of Pearl Lab microphones, announced that the new Pearl PRIORITY condenser microphone will be launched at NAB2013 in Las Vegas, Booth C3139, April 8, 2013.”

  Jones stated “The Pearl Priority is a large membrane condenser microphone with a fixed cardioid pick-up pattern. This totally new design also has a completely new rectangular capsule that features an unusually large membrane for a single membrane capsule. This contributes to the astonishing sonic capabilities of the Pearl Priority microphone.”

  “The frequency response curve of the Priority is just as flat as all other Pearl microphone products, and is an all-around microphone to be used for any acoustic instrument or for vocals. The Priority capsule has been deliberately tuned and the frequency curve shows a slight increase (2 – 3 dB) around 5kHz which corresponds to the “presence increase” often sought particularly for vocals.”
